With a profile that crosses multiple categories and an appearance that will freeze you in your tracks, Sub-Zero combines sweet cream with a sharp citrus astringent that appeals to any palate. Immediately after you open the jar, both parent strains are evident. The creaminess of the Oreoz parent holds the base layer that the Super boof parent gets to color with stings of orange cleaner and kerosene. Each bud carries a "frosty" appearance, with trichome heads covering the bracts and just enough space between them for deep purple hues to be seen. The flavor continues the complexity that the aroma started and brings the citrus and gas notes to the forefront, changing them into a note that toes the line between candy and medicine - all still sitting atop a buttercream base layer that stays on your palate until your final exhale. Reported effects have been a mental stimulation initially that settles nicely into a full-body calmness.
