1/8th Glaciers #11 is an indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain known for its heavy, relaxing effects and "frosty" appearance. There are two primary genetic variations often associated with this name: Variation A (Humboldt Origin): A cross between Snowcap and Double Barrel OG. This version is noted for its "old school" OG terpene profile and high yields. Variation B (Mainstream Glaciers): Often cited as a cross between White Tahoe Cookies and Jet Fuel Gelato, though some retailers list the specific #11 phenotype as having unknown lineage. Effects and Potency The high from Glaciers #11 is typically described as long-lasting and slow-moving. Physical: Delivers a powerful body buzz and "couchlock" sensation that melts away tension. Mental: Provides a "stoney lift" and "unfocused mental bliss" that is uplifting yet deeply calming. THC Content: Generally tests between 24% and 28%, making it suitable for experienced users seeking nighttime relaxation. Flavor and Aroma Profile The strain is characterized by its complex, "loud" scent and smooth smoke. Aroma: Pungent and earthy with sharp notes of pine, citrus, and diesel fumes. Flavor: Sweet and creamy on the inhale (reminiscent of pastries), followed by a spicy, herbal exhale with hints of lemon-lime. Terpene Profile The dominant terpenes in Glaciers #11 contribute to its sedative and therapeutic properties: Myrcene: The most prominent terpene, responsible for the deep herbal warmth and "body melt". Caryophyllene: Adds spicy, peppery notes and aids in stress and pain relief. Limonene: Provides the bright citrus undertones and mood-lifting effects. Common Uses Due to its heavy indica lean, it is frequently used to manage: Insomnia and Sleep Issues Chronic Pain and Muscle Tension Stress and Anxiety Appetite Loss or Nausea
